I like visiting places where have some green.

I have been taking him everywhere I visited since he was born.

I don’t know how much he likes plants but am hoping that he feels something, like something nice… warm…

I love grasshouses

Cambridge University Botanic Garden, 2.1.2019 by BN

I got on a train from London to Cambridge with my son this morning.

We visited to Cambridge University Botanic Garden.

This place is really fascinating and I really love it there.

Especially I loved their glasshouse.

I always love greenhouses but this one was amazing.

Tropical plants section has very high humidity and nicely warm even in January.

Now I understood why my house plants stoped growing.

It was very far from their environment.

.

I will show more photos of our visits later…

Happy New Year 2019

Bird’s nest, 1.1.2019 by BN

Happy new year to you all.

Have a wonderful year and happy growing in 2019.

.

I went to run this morning and found a bird’s nest in the cold sky.

This has great large round leaves.

A new leaf is growing too.

I can’t wait to see how it will become round and great.

Making healthy thicker leaves project #1

“Dischidia Nummularia” by Botany Notes, 11. 2018

This is my new favourite, “Dischidia Nummularia”.

I got it because they have round leaves. (You might have already known that I like the round leaves. 😄)

After I received this plant, I thought…

“Dischidia Nummularia” by Botany Notes, 11. 2018

No I can’t be like that. It should be stronger, bigger and have thicker leaves! 😔

I went to search “Dischidia Nummularia” on Google and Instagram.

A lot of photos show that thicker round leaf as they are succulent.

And very few but some photos show the leaves like “mentos”!!! 🤩

Very very thick and fat round which I was amazed by.

How could I make my thin, plastic looking leaves like that?

Apparently, they need full direct sun to do that and it’s quite difficult matter here in London but I will do my best.

I want to make my Dischidia healthier and thicker!

It became one of my missions.
